30 Watt is a Minneapolis based company that ideates, designs, and manufactures unconventional gifts and products. They create stories and solve unique problems through form, high design, and function.

30 Watt underwent a brand refresh and needed a new visual identity and brand guideline to help convey their new story.

I collaborated with the team at 30 Watt to develop a deeper knowledge of the user research and brand strategy that was conducted by Sean Hansen. The new visual language is a bold yet relatable. It is fun, spirited, and smart.

There was also a need for a packaging design system that reflected the new visual identity. The team wanted a solution that acted as a one-stop-shop for future creatives and contractors, so we created a single document that outlined the brand and packaging guidelines.

The updated branding has been deployed across multiple touch points, creating a strong and consistent brand story.
